Random thoughts

It's been a while since I posted. My family and I are currently on vacation in Toronto, Canada. Hubby and I sneaked a week off to go to New York City for a series of meeting with Hubby's head office. We will be back to Toronto again this weekend. I will be posting a lot about our food adventures in Canada and New York. 


This morning, I went off by myself to my favorite part of New York City, The Esplanade, located along the "boardwalk" of the Hudson river. It was such a warm spring morning, the parks were covered by flowering trees and various tulips and daffodils in full bloom. So beautiful.


As I sat on my favorite bench along the Esplanade in New York City, overlooking the Hudson River and Jersey City,  I teared up a bit. Because not in my wildest childhood dreams did I ever imagine that I would have the privilege of sitting in that bench, looking at the magnificent views. I snapped a photo on my iPhone to capture the moment.

Life is good.
